Our Philosophy
At Axis Osteopathy, our approach is grounded in principles based osteopathy and a deep respect for the body’s inherent capacity to heal and regulate itself. We view the body as a dynamic, interconnected unit, where structure and function are inseparable, and each system influences the whole.
Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, we assess the body globally, locally, and with precision where needed. By improving structural relationships and relieving restrictions that may affect nerves, circulation, and lymphatic flow, we aim to support clearer communication within the body’s systems.
Osteopathic care works with your individual constitution and vitality. Our role is not to force change, but to create the conditions in which your body can adapt, rebalance, and move toward homeostasis more efficiently.
Each treatment is individualized, thoughtful, and grounded in the understanding that health is not simply the absence of discomfort, but the harmonious function of the whole person.

About
My name is Brad Ingham
I am a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (2025) and the owner of (former) Atlas Massage Therapy and now; Axis Osteopathy. With nearly a decade of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist, I bring a strong foundation in hands-on care, anatomy, and therapeutic treatment to my osteopathic practice.
Before entering manual therapy, I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Specialized Honours in Acting) from York University. My background in theatre deeply shaped my understanding of breath, posture, and the body as an expressive and emotional container. That early training cultivated a lasting appreciation for the subtle ways structure, tension, and lived experience are reflected and held within the body.
After graduating from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and Hydrotherapy in Toronto in 2016, I spent years refining my clinical skills in Swedish massage, hydrotherapy, and therapeutic treatment. While my patients often experienced relief, I continued searching for a more comprehensive framework for lasting change. That search led me to osteopathy in 2021. Its principles; treating the body as an interconnected whole and supporting its natural capacity to regulate and heal, aligned deeply with how I believe care should be practiced.
Through osteopathic training, I found an approach that aligned with my belief in treating the whole person rather than isolated symptoms. I now integrate nearly ten years of clinical experience with a global, structural perspective; helping patients move better, feel better, and restore balance within their bodies.
I was born in London, Ontario, and raised in both Canada and Taiwan, which has given me a broad and culturally informed perspective in my work. Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me training, out on the water in the summer, cooking something from the garden, or just enjoying life on the Niagara Bench. I am proud to serve the Beamsville and Ancaster communities and to continue building meaningful therapeutic relationships here grounded in trust and attentive care.
